After the selection of the artist's final design, chosen from several original concepts, the master woodcarver brings the designer's sketch to life in the form of one-of-a-kind pear wood masterpiece. Through an intricate time-tested hand molding process developed by Cathedral Candle Company, a superb duplicate of the wood carving is cast in specially formulated rich color infused waxes. . .one at a time. After hand finishing, all individual pieces are skillfully applied to the candle.
